Just got my jaw dropped by this McKinsey Global Institute report on the rise of China's super cities.

Among the stunning findings:
The commitment by President Hu Jintao to quadrupling China's per capita GDP by 2020.
The estimate that China's urban population will reach 1 billion by 2030 (an increase of 350 million from 2000, which -- for those of you playing along at home -- is more than the entire population of the United States).
The likelihood that there will be over 220 Chinese cities with more than a million people living in them by 2025 (compared to 35 in Europe).

Does your product fit into this exploding Chinese urban market niche? And if it's a billion strong, is it even a niche anymore?
