2025 IndustryWeek Best Plants Finalists Announced
Operational excellence abounds on manufacturing floors across North America.
While their achievements may go unremarked upon by many, every day, teams of problem-solving manufacturing employees find solutions to unexpected downtime, remove waste that’s bogging down a production line, and knock down impediments to better quality. These teams routinely drive extraordinary feats of productivity, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction—and always look to improve.
Since 1990, IndustryWeek’s Best Plants Awards competition has annually sought out these examples of manufacturing excellence, with the aim of sharing their stories and their lessons learned with a wider audience.
More about the IW Best Plants Awards Program
We’ve recently concluded the first round of this annual competition. Seven manufacturing plants located in the United States, Canada and Mexico have been named finalists in the 2025 IW Best Plants Awards competition. We applaud the excellence occurring on their factory floors.
These seven finalists manufacture products that range from automotive components and stretch films to sealing technologies and more. They represent four U.S. states and three countries. And although they differ in size, production processes deployed and technologies employed, they are united in their efforts to do great and be better.
Without further ado, it is our pleasure to name the following seven manufacturing plants as finalists in the 2025 IW Best Plants Awards competition:
Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, O-Ring Application Center – Santa Ana
Santa Ana, California
Intertape Polymer Group
Danville, Virginia
Intertape Polymer Group Inc.
Tremonton, Utah
MSM (North and South)
Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada
Magna Powertrain de Mexico
Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico
Mayville Engineering Company (MEC)
Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
Pullmatic Mfg. Magna Powertrain Inc.
Markham, Ontario, Canada
Even as we applaud these finalists, the annual competition continues. These seven manufacturing plants now move to the next round of the competition and will each respond to follow-up questions from our IW Best Plants judges.
Later this year we will choose the 2025 IW Best Plants Award winners. We look forward to telling you their stories of manufacturing excellence.
