ISM Supplier Index registered 52% in July

The delivery performance of suppliers to manufacturing organizations was slower in July, reversing a one-month contraction.

ISM's Supplier Deliveries Index registered 52% in July, a 2.3 percentage point increase when compared with June's reading of 49.7%. A reading above 50% indicates slower deliveries.

Seven verticals reported slower supplier deliveries in July, including textile mills; wood products; computer & electronic products; food, beverage & tobacco products; machinery; and transportation equipment.
