2025 IW U.S. 500: Top Industrial Equipment Companies

Industrial equipment companies had a relatively good 2024 when compared to other industry categories in the 2025 IndustryWeek U.S. 500.

Here are some key highlights from the industrial equipment sector:

  • Honeywell capped off the sector, ranking no. 38 on this year’s list.
  • After a 2023 net income loss of $6.995 billion, 3M reported a $4.173 billion profit last year.
  • Three of the companies made this year’s list after not making the cut the previous year: Albany International Corp (No. 481), Tennant Co. (No. 476) and JBT Marel Corp. (No. 433).
  • The biggest movers all improved their rank from the previous year: Chart Industries Inc. moved 54 spots, RBC Bearings Inc. moved 53 spots and Watts Water Technologies Inc. moved 47 spots.
